Activities of children
When a child reaches the age of two year, the mother starts teaching him or her different things. For example, the mother likes to teach her the names of things and the manes of relatives. Before it, the children learn their milestones of watching, smiling, rolling, crawling, lifting head, grasping objects, walking and talking etc. After them, the child learns many things with her cognitive ability. He starts feeling the difference between good and bad behavior, polite and harsh behavior. In home and in school, the child has different activities. In home, she starts eating herself and tries to follow table manners. The holding of spoon of baby while eating is beautiful for a mother. In school, activities of children are to color things and produce alphabetical sounds. The children try to write them while producing them in the meantime. In this way, the children star learning and reading at social level. First level was the domestic level. Then, this level turns in to second level which is a social level.
The young children love to hear stories from grandparents and also from teachers. The poems with music are taught to students in schools. The children love to sing songs. The practice of songs is a favorite hobby for children. This is the time period when the children like to make wish for ice-creams and chocolates. These are the basic activities of children.
Some children have aesthetic taste. So, they like to make paintings at home with desired colors. Many kinds of hand crafts can be seen in children bedrooms. The walls have different handmade paintings. Besides, school and home activates, the children have physical activities like to jump string, to play cricket, to play with cars and dolls etc.
This kind of activities is group activities. During these activities, the children learn sharing and patience as they are in wait of their turn in cricket. So, the group activities teach them courage and discipline. In this there are many activities which the children perform. Some activities are performed in consciously and some are unconsciously. Some boys like to do fishing with his father while girls like to remain at home and help to her mother in domestic chores. In this, the children of different sexes have different activities.
